Mackie is her six-year-old long-haired Dachshund and beloved grandpup who is currently living with her.
Long-haired Dachshunds are charming, intelligent, and confident dogs, known for their long bodies, short legs, and silky, feathered coats. Originally bred in Germany for hunting, they are lively companions and are often considered slightly calmer than their wire-haired counterparts. They thrive in loving homes and require careful attention to protect their backs from injury.
Mackie loves spending time with his family — and, of course, enjoys getting plenty of treats!
