The 2017 CAI-NJ Conference and Expo was held on Wednesday, October 18th, 2017 and McGovern Legal Services would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth. With over 300 exhibitors, board members, and managers in attendance enjoying great food and beverages while displaying their expertise and networking with vendors, the 2017 CAI-NJ Conference and Expo was a major success.
Fran McGovern was a key presenter at this year’s CAI-NJ Conference and Expo, as he spoke in front of managers and association board members about the importance of amending their associations governing documents. A critical issue that condominium associations, homeowner associations, and co-op communities tend to overlook. With continuous change in association communities, laws, and the insurance industry, Fran expressed key reasons there should be annual modifications to each condominium and homeowner’s association’s governing documents.
Solution-minded advocacy is our motto and association law is what we do. Throughout the CAI-NJ Conference and Expo board members and property managers stopped by to gain insight from our attorneys regarding different issues such as construction defect, litigation, association collections, and transition.
